The Rim Country Chapter of the Arizona Republican Assembly has achieved unprecedented historic growth since its founding late last fall. AZRA (Arizona Republican Assembly), the Constitutional Conservative grass roots volunteer statewide organization, had suffered, and was nearly destroyed, through poor leadership the last few years when the founding leaders were called to service outside Arizona.
In 2017, founding President Thayer Verschoor was appointed by President Trump as the Executive Director for Intergovernmental Affairs in the US Department of Veteran Affairs. At the same time, founding 1st Vice President Phil Mason retired to Canon City, Colorado – the home of his wife’s mother and sisters. And then, bad news for the corrupt establishment – – They’re baack!
The Rim Country Chapter of AZRA was founded with 12 members nine months ago and has grown six-fold as of today. In addition, your Rim Country Chapter birthed a new Chapter in that thriving suburban outpost of Young, AZ this spring and the Young Chapter has grown to 25 active members. Statewide, AZRA has experienced a five-fold increase in membership including 32 Primary Election Legislative candidates.
