That there is going to be a vacancy on the Town Council? Tina McAllister-Smith is stepping off the Council due to family obligations in Tucson. We wish them all the best in their move.
How will this vacancy be filled? Are they calling for applicants? How will applicants be selected? Who will select this person? Shouldn’t the people have a say in who is on the Council? Where is the transparency that our town government boasts about? These are all really good questions that need to be asked.
