On June 11, the Arizona Republican Assembly met for their annual meeting in Gilbert, Az. The Rim Country Chapter, now the largest local Chapter in Arizona, was well represented with the largest contingent in attendance. President Thayer Verschoor gave an uplifting and challenging exhortation “Call to Action” as the Keynote Speech. He highlighted the premise that our best days are ahead of us if grass roots conservatives are passionate and committed to working for the election of true conservative Republicans across the board.
Governance at all levels across America is being infiltrated by Progressives and RINOs who are intentionally attempting to dismantle the Founding Principles of our “One Nation Under God.” In spite of the efforts of the left, we are looking forward to a Red Tidal Wave this November with a re-certification of the Constitutional Republic Principles. The prospects for a Constitutional Conservative Republican Caucus majority in Congress and the Arizona State Legislature appears to be in the cards.
In addition to conducting the necessary business of the growing organization, the delegates were ecstatic with the news that the AZRA Legislative Scorecard will be fully operational at the onset of the next legislative session. It was also announced that a major upgrade in IT capability, e-mail options, financial improvements and local chapter websites are ready for full use. After those and other more mundane business items were completed, the member-delegates in attendance elected state officers and endorsed statewide and federal candidates.
The newly elected officers for 2022 thru 2024 are:
First Vice President – Phil Mason, Payson
Second Vice President – Connie Uribe, Yuma
Treasurer – Rose Ann Watts, Payson
National Director – Marne Thompson, Scottsdale
National Director – Julie Fisher, North Scottsdale
